FIRE-STOP PILLOW
Fire-stop pillow is made of fire-retardant materials and
inflatable materials. The product will inflate once on
fire forming a beehive block that will effectively block
the heat, as well as stopping flame and smoke from spreading.
Applicable as fire-retarding material on crossing sections
of building fireproofing area, for the wires, cables and
pipe going through floor boards and walls would be the
possible cause of flame and smoke spreading, and our fire-stop
pillow can effectively prevent it. I. Feature:
1. Approved by CNS-14514 certification standards and meets
American Fireproofing Act ASTME-814 standards (as
....UL-1479
and ASTME-119).
2. Fire resisting period: ＞ 2 hours
3. Oxygen exponent: ＞ 60
4. Smoke density: ＜ 60 II. Function:
1. Prevent flame from spreading at broad opens (such as
metal pipes).
2. Prevent flame from spreading alone bus through floorboards.
3. Prevent flame from spreading alone cables through walls.
4. Prevent flame from spreading alone cable channels.
5. Prevent flame form spreading in power plant and transformer
station
6. Prevent flame from spreading alone underground construction
cable passes.
7. Prevent flame from spreading in construction of communication
equipment rooms and computer control center. III. Preparation:
1. Please clean stuffed holes and have all cables sorted
and organized before application.
2. Pile up fire-stop pillows around the cables; press
to tight the pillows to the cables leaving the gap less
than 1cm. Fill
....the gap with un-congeal fire-stop putty
if necessary.
3. For broad opens, place a suitable steel net at the
bottom, then pile up pillows around the cables (1 or 2
layers), and
....apply un-congeal fire-stop putty to make
a layer of 2~3 cm.
4. For elevator cables, pile up the pillows up to 30 cm. IV. Specification:

1. Aluminum packing with fireproofing fabric inside.
