I. Introduction:
GP-300A Congealable fire-stop putty is a mixture of
heat proofing and non-organic solution, applicable as
fire retardant material at cross sections of building
fire proofing areas. This product can effectively stop
flame, smoke and poison gas from spreading alone cables,
frames and pipes. To reduce a fire scene, fire-retardant
materials are essential to block fire and smoke.
II. Function
1. Approved by CNS-14514 certification standards, and
meets American Fire-proofing Act ASTME-814 (same as UL-
....1479 and ASTME-119).
2. Fire-proofing period: ＞2 hours.
3. Density: 1.6g / cm3
4. Congealing time: ＜15 min.
5. Corrosiveness: Non-corrosive to plastic, copper, lead
and steel.
6. Adhesiveness: High adhesiveness to concrete and metal.
III. Feature:
1. Prevent flame from spreading alone plastic pipes through
floors and walls.
2. Prevent flame from spreading alone metal pipes through
floors and walls.
3. Prevent flame from spreading alone cable channel frames
through walls.
4. Prevent flame from spreading at broad opens.
5. Prevent flame from spreading along windpipes.
6. Prevent flame from spreading along cables through wall. IV. Application
1. Clean the holes before application.
2. Congealable fire-stop putty is a mixture of heat-proofing,
non-organic powder and solution by 1:1 proportion. Pour the
....mixture into holes and wipe even.
3. Prepare the mixture accordingly to the size of holes,
for the material will not be applicable once congealed.
4. When working on larger holes, use non-congealable putty
as assisting material.
V. Package & Storage
1. Heat-proofing, non-organic powder packed in plastic
buckets, 20 kg each.
2. Solution packed in plastic buckets, 20 kg each.
3. Please store indoors, in dry, cool and airy condition,
away from moisture.
